Abstract

Process Parallel Adaption of the Tool Path for 3-Axis-Milling. The depth and width of cut are important factors for productivity and quality in milling operations. Up to now, suitable values have been determined manually by timeconsuming running-in processes. Intelligent systems for autonomous parameter adaption could simultaneously increase productivity and minimize the manual effort required for process preparation. However, the implementation of such systems has so far lacked possibilities for process-parallel adaption of depth and width of cut.
