Abstract
Production data is worth its weight in gold for companies. In particular, the data is valuable for production planning and control and has a great influence on the profitability of the company. A previous analysis of recorded operating data from a company suggested optimization potential in the recording methodology [6]. To validate these potentials, further operational data have now been analyzed for their quality and usability. This paper shows the results of a quality analysis of collected operational data from several companies with almost 9 million reports.
