The LUH research information system

Welcome to the research portal "Research@Leibniz University". This web presence presents selected research information at various organisational levels and for individuals. The research portal is filled with data from the LUH research information system (FIS). Due to the lack of a predecessor system, LUH's research cannot yet be fully mapped, but it is constantly being added to. Click on the image to the left to access the corresponding press release.

An open book

Open Access

Leibniz University Hannover supports the scientific-political request for open access to knowledge in the sciences and humanities, as determined in the ‘Berlin Declaration’, issued October 2003. In the spirit of this declaration, the Open Access Policy was passed by the committee and the senate. As a university library, the TIB supports researchers in making their publications highly visible and freely accessible.

Interdisciplinary pooling of outstanding individual achievements at Leibniz Universtät Hannover characterises our approach to making excellent research internationally visible. Find out more in our 'Research@Leibniz University' research portal.

Organisations

Nine faculties with almost 150 institutes and numerous interdisciplinary research centres make Leibniz Universität Hannover one of the largest universities in Lower Saxony.

Prizes

The success of the research conducted at Leibniz Universität is reflected in the research awards and honours received by its outstanding scientists.

Datasets

All data generated and processed in scientific activities are considered research data. Search for metadata records describing various research datasets here.

Equipment

In recent years, the university's research infrastructure has been steadily expanded. In the portal you will find mainly DFG-funded major research instrumentation.

Spin-offs

Research results may form the cornerstone for a successful spin-off. The university's start-up service, starting business, accompanies the implementation of innovative ideas, which will also be reported in the FIS in the future.
