My main research interests are ecosystem services and their role for the sustainable management of the socio-ecological system. I am interested in the possibilities for implementation of different spatial analysis tools, models and different data sources for the spatial anaysis and quantification of ecosystem services and their interactions with changes in the socio-ecological system. My work is in both therestrial and costal/marine environments, focusing on the translation of environmental data and model results into the language of ecosystem service and sustainability for the needs of integrated environmental management in order to produce stakeholder-relevant information that can support policy and decision making.
