Abstract
The requirements concerning solid forged components"functionality and resource efficiency are constantly increasing. In order to address these demands, new processes are being developed, whereby automation significantly influences the efficiency of the processes. This paper presents handling devices that can be applied universally, whereby various hot-forged objects can be handled. As a result, the automation of individual processes can be designed independently of the choice of a handling device, enabling the optimisation of the processes.
