Abstract

Resource efficiency is becoming more and more relevant as an important part of the corporate strategy of manufacturing companies. The enhancement of resource efficiency through sustainable behaviour is depending on the competence structures of the employees. This article describes an approach for the assessment and analysis of the competence structures of the employees regarding resource efficiency. This information is the foundation to initiate individual und specific measures in regards of personnel development in the field of sustainable production.
