Abstract
For manufacturing companies, production data is the new gold. Especially for the production planning and control, the quality and timeliness of the collected data is crucial. However, the current state of the art in "mining"is still characterized by manual activities. This article shows how efficient this practice is in capturing data in companies and what effect it has on the "purity"of the data.
