Abstract
Collaboration within a research institute is often hindered by diverse organisational obstacles such as physically separated work locations, unconnected projects or cases where colleagues are unfamiliar with each other’s areas of expertise. In this demo paper, we describe a process for creating a research institute knowledge graph for internal organisation, to accommodate its members needs and to foster collaborations. We create such a knowledge graph from public and internal resources and demonstrate its benefits via use cases and access methods. We make the creation process and website code available as a general framework that can be adapted to the distinct requirements of different research institutes, and provide a video demonstrating an example research institute KG at https://sgottsch.github.io/research-institute-kg-demo/.
