Abstract

The conflict of objectives between productivity and the controllability of a growing product spectrum poses significant challenges to the assembly systems of numerous industrial com-panies. However, the capabilities of existing organizational forms are no longer sufficient to be able to map variant time-diverging content in an economic framework. Therefore, alterna-tive hybrid organizational forms are being de-signed, and production logistics simulations for flow-shop combinations are being carried out as part of the HyFlowJobShop research project.
